Peran Keluarga Dalam Menentukan Waktu Penanganan Stroke: Studi Cross-Sectional

Background: Delays in pre hospital management of stroke patients remain high and can result in missed opportunities for therapy within the golden period of ≤4,5 hours, one of which is influenced by family response. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between family response and delays in pre hospital management among stroke patients. Method: This study employed a cross- sectional design and was conducted at RSUD dr. H. Moch Ansari Saleh. A total of 57 respondents were included using accidental sampling. Data were collected usiang a family response questionnaire and a pre hospital delay checklist based on symptom onset time. Result: Statistical analysis using Spearman’s rank correlation showed a significant relationship between family response and pre hospital treatment delay in stroke patients p = 0,000 (p<0,05). Conclution: There is a significant relationship between family response and delays in pre hospital management among stroke patients.
