Journal History

    1. Khatulistiwa Nursing Journal (KNJ) was first published in 2019 and is issued biannually in January and July, the journal published 5 articles per issue.
    2. Khatulistiwa Nursing Journal has been registered in the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) print media on January 7, 2019 with number 2655-772X.
    3. Khatulistiwa Nursing Journal has been registered on crossref and Digital Object Identifier (DOI) on June 09, 2021.
    4. By July 2021, Khatulistiwa Nursing Journal applied for an e-ISSN which was then registered on July 5, 2021 with number 2798-3897.
    5. There was a template change for the first time in vol. 4 issue 1 : January 2022.
    6. By July 2025, Khatulistiwa Nursing Journal had been Indexed by Science and Technology Index (SINTA) and obtained accreditation predicate in grade 4 by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia.
    7. Starting with Volume 7, Issue 2, published in July 2025, the number of articles published per issue increased from 5 to 15 as the journal expanded its publication capacity.
    8. By January 2026, Khatulistiwa Nursing Journal changes Author Fee from IDR 0 to IDR 450.000 for publication fee.
    9. In January 2026 (Volume 8, Issue 1), the journal further increased its publication output to 29 articles.
    10. In July 2026 (Volume 8, Issue 2), Khatulistiwa Nursing Journal published 19 articles, continuing its publication activity and development.
