Pengaruh Pemberian Yoga Suryanamaskara Terhadap Kualitas Tidur pada Lansia di Desa Adat Padang Tegal

Background: Older adults are vulnerables to experiencing decreased sleep quality due to physical and psychological change associated with aging. One non-pharmacological intervention that may be used to address this issue is Suryanamaskara Yoga, which provides both physical and mental relaxation effects. Objective: This research wants to determind the impact of Suryanamaskara Yoga to sleep qualities among older adults in Padang Tegal Traditional Village. Method: This research employing a quantitative research method also a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. A total of 50 respondents were choosed use a purposive sampling approach. The data accumulated using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire. Result: The answers show before giving an intervention, respondents (100%) had bad sleep quality. Following the interventions, the domination of respondents is (88%) demonstrated well sleep quality. The Wilcoxon test revealed a p-value of 0.001 (p<0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. Conclutions: It might be concluded the Suryanamaskara Yoga gives a significant impact to improvie sleep quality among older adults.
